The current trajectory of AI development will lead to the monopolization of wealth and power and the misappropriation of your personal data and skills. Kwaai is countering this trend by creating a free Personal AI Operating System, pAIOS.
We aim to empower users to retain and own their personal data and knowledge model, enhancing their digital abilities and competitiveness in the modern economy.
Kwaai focuses on developing Tools (akin to a 'Linux' for Personal AI), researching Fundamentals (focusing on model accuracy and efficiency), and drafting for Policy that support personal data and AI ownership.
Kwaai is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We are a volunteer based, open source AI research and development lab focused on democratizing artificial intelligence by building a Personal AI. We center our efforts around the principles of personal control, self-sovereign identity, transparency, and openness.
